Janhavi Kolhe, Director

I have done my graduation from Annapurna international school of film and media (Hyderabad) BFA- Bachelor in fine arts specialising in direction and editing. I have also finished BA and MA in English literature. MA in philosophy.

EXPERIENCE :-

• I have worked in various short films as an assistant and directed quite a few.
• I have also done marketing and strategy for barefoot to goa in 2014, an indie film.
• In 2018 I worked on a telugu film as an associate director, which has already seen a good success “hushaaru”.
• I was involved from script stage till they finished the complete shoot. So I have been through the drill. I interned with jar pictures in 2013 for talvar movie for a month. I was just 17 then.
• I worked in balaji telefilms in 2011, where I was the youngest writer.
• I also won best movie by the government of telangana in 2015 for a short documentary I directed about the farmers and rural area.
• I have also arranged dimf in january 2019 for a film festival where all the liked minded people came together.
• In the year 2019 I have focused on writing my own web series which is under working title and I have done 5 AD films with magic box production as 2nd AD.

In the past year i have also worked in ads for various brands like-

• Swiggy - 5 ads with this food delivery company as 2nd ad.
• Unlimited - print and talkie 3 ads for the bangalore based clothing brand as 1st ad.
• Dabor - Oil fiction ad as da.
• Nykka - tutorials for makeup brands as 1st ad.
• Rasna - IPL ads with Rohit Sharma as 2nd
